Sara Filimon lives in Brasov near Romania’s beautiful Carpathian Mountains. And since 2021, she has served as a BMA missionary along with her sister Vanessa Martinez, brother-in-law Cristian, and their family. Part of their ministry includes working at a coffee shop, which allows them to build relationships and share their faith. The managers have changed in the three years they have served there, but the coffee shop is where they started their first Bible studies on Wednesday nights.

I am a Woman Ministries, or IAW, was established in Lebanon in 2006. Its goal is to empower ladies and give them an opportunity to belong to a like-minded community. The ministry started in the capital city of Beirut. After sixteen years of ministry within the city, the IAW team revisited its strategy and began heading out to various areas in Lebanon to offer courses in collaboration with the local churches.

Growing up Mormon, I only knew the culture that surrounded me, so I was taught a different gospel. I knew about and believed in God, knew right from wrong, and went to church occasionally. Even though I didn't attend church every Sunday, I was still conditioned in the Mormon faith.

On a recent trip to the Dominican Republic, I had the privilege of meeting Roberto Feliz. It didn’t take long for me to see his love for the Lord and the people around him. When he is not greeting folks, he is humming a worship tune or singing praises to God.
